Danielle Corcione, Former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Joins CSG's White Collar Practice

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney, Danielle M. Corcione, has joined Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi (“CSG”) as a member in its White Collar Criminal Defense & Government Investigations Group.

An experienced trial lawyer and counselor, Corcione represents individuals, governmental entities and corporations in connection with white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and complex civil litigation matters. She also brings extensive experience counseling on data privacy issues.

She joins a number of former federal prosecutors at CSG – including Jeffrey Chiesa, Ross Pearlson, Matthew Beck and Lee Vartan.

Corcione said CSG offers a dynamic, yet familiar, platform to build upon: “I look forward to working closely alongside the firm’s exceptionally talented attorneys, reconnecting with former colleagues from the U.S. Attorney’s Office and putting my insight to work advising on criminal and civil matters for the benefit of our valued clients.”

Corcione joins CSG from Day Pitney’s white collar defense group. Prior to that, she served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, where she was a member of the Health Care & Government Fraud Unit. Earlier in her career, Corcione was the Senior Privacy Counsel at an international cosmetics manufacturer, where she played an integral role in the strategic development and implementation of the company’s privacy program to ensure continual compliance with global privacy and data protection laws.

“As evidenced by Danielle’s arrival, CSG continues to be a destination of choice for many of the region’s preeminent former prosecutors and commercial litigators alike,” stated Daniel A. Schwartz, CSG’s Managing Member. “Danielle’s proven track record and tenacity will further our Litigation Group’s reputation as one of New Jersey’s most respected.”

“With her impressive background in public service and in-house experience, Danielle is yet another valuable addition to our White Collar Group whose abilities will naturally extend into – and enhance – our healthcare, privacy and data security practices,” added Ross Pearlson, Co-Chair of the firm’s Litigation Group and former Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of New York.

Corcione is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and New York Law School. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
