Ross Pearlson Named Fellow of Prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers

CSG announced today that member Ross Pearlson has been named a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America.

Pearlson, who co-chairs CSG’s Litigation Group, was formally inducted into the College in front of approximately 600 people at the College’s 2017 Spring meeting in Boca Raton, Florida.

Composed of the best trial attorneys from the United States and Canada, the American College of Trial Lawyers maintains and seeks to improve the standards of trial practice, professionalism, ethics, and the administration of justice through education and public statements on important legal issues relating to its mission. Fellowship in the College is extremely exclusive, and may not exceed one percent of licensed attorneys within any state or province. Admission is extended only after careful investigation into a nominee’s accomplishments, personal integrity, ethics, collegiality and community standing, including input from fellow attorneys and judges before whom he or she has tried cases.

“It’s a tremendous honor to be inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers – a group that includes past Supreme Court Justices, U.S. Attorney Generals and many other dignitaries,” Pearlson said. “To count myself among a group of such talented and accomplished attorneys is truly humbling.”

A distinguished trial attorney with almost 30 years of experience, Pearlson has represented a wide range of corporations and individuals in white collar criminal cases and investigations, including those involving allegations of insider trading, kickbacks, public corruption, insurance fraud and Medicare and Medicaid fraud. He has also handled a variety of complex commercial litigation, with a focus on healthcare and securities matters. Past clients include a broad base of both international and domestic companies, securities firms, broker-dealers, hospitals, surgery centers and other healthcare businesses and providers.

A graduate of the Harvard University School of Law, Pearlson joined CSG in 2011.

“Ross is a tremendously accomplished attorney whose mix of skill, integrity and collegiality is truly special,” CSG Managing Member Daniel A. Schwartz said. “We are proud to stand beside him as he receives this well-deserved recognition.”

There are currently approximately 5,800 American College of Trial Lawyers members in the United States and Canada, including active fellows, emeritus fellows, judicial fellows (those who ascended to the bench after their induction) and honorary fellows.
