Monmouth County Assessment Demonstration Program

As the calendar year begins to draw to a close, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC advises property owners to take note of upcoming real property tax deadlines. Property owners in Monmouth County need to be especially alert inasmuch as legislation implementing a Pilot Program was signed into law in 2013.

Under the Pilot Program in Monmouth County, property owners can expect to receive their 2017 Notification of Assessment postcards sometime between November 15, 2016 and December 1, 2016. Monmouth County property owners will have to file their tax appeals by January 15, 2017.
