Two U.S. District Court Judicial Law Clerks, Two New Jersey Superior Court Judicial Law Clerks to Join Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi

Continuing its growth, Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi, the 43-year old New Jersey business and policy powerhouse law firm, announced today the addition of four new associates following prestigious judicial clerkships. In the Fall of 2015, Amanda Miceli, Esq., Bisola Taiwo, Esq., Chelsea Jasnoff, Esq., and Barbara Sorkin, Esq. will join the firm after completing their Clerkships with, respectively: the Honorable Jose L. Linares and previously, the Honorable Joseph A. Dickson, both of the U.S. District Court of New Jersey; the Honorable Susan D. Wigenton, U.S. District Court of New Jersey; the Honorable David B. Katz, Superior Court of New Jersey and the Honorable Robert P. Contillo and Menelaos W. Toskos, Superior Court of New Jersey.

“We are delighted to welcome these excellent young attorneys from the respected position of Judicial Clerks to U.S District Court and New Jersey Superior Court Judges,” commented Jeffrey Chiesa. “This continues our excellent growth of the last two years during which time we added 37 attorneys including 7 members of the firm.”  

Ms. Miceli received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2013 after graduating from Franklin and Marshall College with a B.A. in Philosophy, where she was captain of the NCAA national championship lacrosse team. Ms. Miceli is a member of the New Jersey Bar.

After earning her B.A. in Political Science from Colgate University, Ms. Taiwo graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in May 2011. She previously served as a Litigation Fellow at Seton Hall Law School’s Center for Social Justice, a Judicial Extern to a U.S. Court of Appeals Justice and a Law Clerk to a N.J. Superior Court Judge, Appellate Division, as well as a Staff Attorney in the private sector. Ms. Taiwo is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and New York.

Ms. Jasnoff is a magna cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law in May 2014 and has held her Judicial Clerkship position since summer of 2014. She is admitted to the practice of law in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ms. Jasnoff received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Delaware

Ms. Sorkin received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Rutgers University School of Law in May 2014 and is admitted to the Bar in New Jersey and New York (pending). Ms. Sorkin earned a B.A., cum laude, in Political Science from Rutgers University.

This Fall, the attorneys will be practicing in the firm’s corporate and litigation practice areas.
