CSG Attorneys Mairo and Plumb Contribute to the Ninth Edition of the "New Jersey Environmental Law Handbook"

Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC (“CSG”), a leading law firm in West Orange, NJ, is pleased to announce that two of its environmental attorneys – David J. Mairo and Michael K. Plumb – are contributing authors in the newly-released New Jersey Environmental Law Handbook, Ninth Edition.

Mairo, a Member with the firm’s Environmental Group, co-authored Chapter 4, Section 6, Natural Resource Damages. In his writings and in his practice, Mairo utilizes his unique background combining technical and legal experience to counsel clients on environmental law, Brownfields redevelopment, site remediation and regulatory compliance. Moreover, based on his former career as an environmental consultant, David is able to ensure that the scope of the remediation is appropriate for the redevelopment’s intended use.

Plumb, also a Member with CSG’s Environmental Group, authored Chapter 14, Energy and the Environment. Plumb represents clients in environmental litigation claims, regulatory and compliance counseling and enforcement. He also represents clients in building and permitting new and existing energy infrastructure. Earlier in his career, Plumb worked as an environmental engineer with a focus on environmental due diligence and regulatory compliance.

The recently published handbook provides readers with an invaluable reference guide that they can rely on for the most up to date and accurate information on New Jersey’s environmental laws. Topics covered include energy and the environment, air quality regulations, wastewater treatment, and wildlife protection.
