Aileen Brennan

Counsel Roseland, NJ  

Aileen Brennan, Counsel with the firm’s Real Estate, Development & Land Use Group, has extensive experience in representing public entities in the areas of redevelopment, land use and eminent domain. Aileen has significant experience negotiating and drafting redevelopment agreements, legislation, and related documents for designation of redevelopment areas and implementation of redevelopment plans. She has an extensive background working with municipalities to draft legislation to accept and implement grant funding for the remediation and development of open space and parklands pursuant to New Jersey’s Green Acres Act. Aileen has also successfully litigated zoning and land use disputes on behalf of municipalities.


Prior to joining CSG, Aileen practiced at a New Jersey-based redevelopment and environmental boutique law firm. She has counseled companies and communities related to aviation and airports concerning compliance with federal and state environmental guidelines, due to her knowledge from a former role with a major airline.

Aileen earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Boston College.
